Chris is the founder of Divergent Performance and has more than a decade of athletic training experience. He earned his BS in Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary and has studied movement ever since. As a former College athlete himself, Chris is able to connect with his clients in a way that fosters both personal growth and optimal performance. Chris and the Divergent team have created an atmosphere for athletes and students that is both relaxed and challenging. Programs are adaptable to any situation, and can be customized to meet the specific needs and goals of any client, group or team. Chris’ main objective at Divergent is to offer effective training programs that will yield the best possible results and outcomes for every client.

Russell has been training and coaching since 2010. Russell designs training programs to fit within the time, schedule and performance goals of each client. He works closely with clients, regardless of age, to examine their day-to-day habits, routines, and activities to develop a program that will optimize training and performance at the gym and in daily life. Russell has a philosophy of honesty and open communication which he believes will yield a positive and results oriented experience. He inspires clients to reach their health and fitness goals and works closely with each client to help them feel and move better.

Marissa has been a performance coach since 2020. Exercise has always been an important part of her life and she works hard to make sure her clients understand the benefits of better health and optimal fitness. Her commitment is always to challenge and inspire her clients, in a space that is comfortable and safe that fosters both confidence and results.

Jessica has more than a decade of experience in fitness training and is a NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, ISSA Youth Fitness Trainer and NutritionOS coach and holds an Associates Degree in Health Science. Jessica is dedicated to offering her clients of all ages a personal training experience that is designed to meet their specific goals. Jess embodies a positive attitude and has an energy and enthusiasm that is contagious.
