OTAC Breathe is a fully dedicated studio designed to help you achieve all the mind and body benefits of Yoga and Pilates.

When you walk through our doors, you have access to three separate areas of focus. First is our classic studio, which is devoted to a wide range of yoga styles including foundational practices, Hatha, alignment-based yoga, restorative yoga, mat Pilates, and asanas using our yoga wall.

Our second studio offers classes in hot vinyasa, warm foundations and slow flow.

Lastly, our fully equipped Pilates studio contains reformers, Cadillacs, barrels and chairs that emphasize pelvic and spinal alignment and help build flexibility and long, lean muscles. Sessions are offered privately or in small groups.

With 32 weekly classes to choose from, OTAC Breathe is an oasis of whole health, helping you gently release stress and build strength with techniques both classical and cutting-edge.

 In this class students will utilize the Pilates Jumpboard apparatus to add cardiovascular endurance elements to the Pilates Mixed Equipment class. Some Pilates Mixed Equipment experience recommended. 



PILATES MIXED EQUIPMENT WITH JUMPBOARD

“Ha” meaning sun and “tha” meaning moon, this class works to balance these two energies. Students will practice active strength building poses as well as deep stretching postures.This class will encourage students to practice inner awareness and may offer pranayama and guided meditation. This class is suitable for all levels.

Pilates is a physical fitness discipline that focuses on developing core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced and provide essential support of the spine.Pilates exercises will help you achieve better posture, reduce muscular and joint pain, increase flexibility and achieve an overall healthier and more toned physique. Pilates is a fantastic cross training tool and will compliment all of your exercise programming! Suitable for all levels.

This class will focus on details to alignments within asana and utilize the Yoga Wall to support inversions and backbends.

This class focuses on gentle postures and movements to help alleviate stress and relax your mind and body. Instructors will offer styles of yoga such as Yin, Restorative, and Gentle Somatic Yoga that will provide you with a tranquil and rejuvenating experience. This class is perfect for the yogi that craves gentleness and rest. 

Yoga for restoration

(Also offered as a hot class) This class offers flowing yoga sequences that are designed to build strength and flexibility. Poses practiced may include but are not limited to balancing postures, backbends, twists, arm balances and inversions. Suitable for all levels, some experience recommended. 

VINYASA

Breathe power circuit

Kinesis core strength

 For the more experienced student, this is a vigorous, circuit formatted class designed to target the whole body. Emphasis on core engagement, breath and posture; each session is spiced up by a multiple station format with the combination of cardio, strength and endurance. Come prepared to sweat and enjoy the pilates equipment in a new and challenging way! Minimum of 10 mixed equipment classes required prior to attendance.

By design this workout is both aerobic and muscular endurance based. It offers high calorie expenditure and keeps the participant in constant motion training utilizing the Kinesis Equipment. The Kinesis system is incredibly smooth and allows the participant to work on all 3 planes of motion! OTAC is one of 300 facilities in the United States offering the state of the art Kinesis System!

Slow Flow 

(Also offered as a warm class) A slower paced vinyasa yoga practice that allows time to fully explore yoga postures. The practice will build heat through expanded sun salutations and gentle flowing sequences then transition to deeper stretches on the mat. Suitable for all levels. 

Pilates with Spine Corrector

The spine corrector is a piece of Pilates equipment made of high density foam weighing only 4lbs. This versatile piece of equipment can improve spinal mobility to improve posture, increase flexibility and strengthen muscles of the torso, shoulders, core and legs.

Pilates Equipment Fundamentals

This class is perfect for beginners and those who are coming back to Pilates after a hiatus. Students will explore the fundamental Pilates exercises on various pieces of equipment such as the reformer and chair. This class may also cover small props such as the magic circle, Bosu, and stability ball as well as Pilates mat exercises. 

Pilates on the MVe Chair

In this class, students primarily use the MVe Fitness Chair to build core strength, balance and mobility. Students can expect a dynamic and challenging class sequence leaving them feeling stable and aligned.
